Chapter 151 Running Back To The Family
\'\'Hey, you don\'t have to be mad, alright? He\'ll be here before too long, I\'m sure of it. What about some herbal tea while waiting? It\'s said to relax the nerves. \'\' Afraid for his life in the presence of Tika\'s murderous glare, Fatty Sami raised his hands to appease her.
\'\'Water whip. \'\'
Tika held out her hand to Fatty Sami and activated her skill, which caused a string of water to flow from her hand and encircle Sami\'s body, luring him closer to her.
\'\'Gakh.\'\'
After yanking Sami with the skill, Tika grabbed him by the throat and lifted his feet into the air with one hand, despite Sami\'s weight of over 100 kilograms.
"Hey, what\'re you doing?" Finally able to respond to this rapidly developing situation, Dan rushed forward to save Sami.
\'\'Water Whip. \'\'
Tika used the same skill once more, and this time the water rope encircled Dan from head to toe and covered his mouth to render him speechless and immobile.
Why are you acting this way? We just told you to wait a bit,\'\' Karan yelled helplessly.
"Let them go now; we can talk this through." When another youth saw Sami\'s distressed expression, he spoke in a hurried tone.
\'\'Do you really believe that the master would approve of you hurting them? Let them go right away. \'\' Pana, at a loss for what to do, finally uttered Raydon\'s name as a last resort. She hoped that the power of this name, which had worked so well the first time around against Shadow Messenger, would hold true this time around as well.
\'\'No matter whose servants you are, I don\'t care. I\'m here because the Demugen family told me to, and anyone who stands in my way and tries to stop me from doing my duty will be put to death. \'\'
When Tika noticed the terrified expressions on everyone\'s faces, she grinned with pleasure and tightened her grip on Sami\'s neck.
\'As if such a strong person would be concerned about the lives of a few useless servants. \' Tika thought.
The sight of Sami\'s writhing body and purpling face horrified onlookers. The woman who had fooled them into thinking she was an angel had completely changed into a demon and was now coldly killing their friends in front of their eyes.
And despite all their efforts, sacrifices, and Dan\'s eventual awakening into an item holder, they were still very weak and innocent bystanders to the deaths of their friends.
\'We haven\'t changed a bit. We\'re helpless to even try and save our friend. Dan, tears in his eyes and unable to speak, looked up hesitantly at Sami\'s body, which was slowly ceasing movement.
\'Man, it\'s been a long time since a woman touched me, and already I feel like I\'m going to die.\' Sami was thinking about his last moments as he gradually lost consciousness and prepared to die when he heard a voice inside his head.
In fact, it reverberated throughout the entire street in addition to his mind.
\'\'Your behavior, young girl, is completely impolite.\'\'
\'\'Ahhhh!\'\'
Tika stepped back and let out a hoarse cry of pain. Her arm, which she had been using to hold Sami, was sliced cleanly off at the shoulder and dropped to the ground.
\'\'Cough, cough… \'\'
Sami\'s throat was released from the steely hand, and he collapsed to the ground, breathing freely once more.
"Sh*t, my training is finally paying off." Sami gave the training he had immersed himself in the credit for his ability to hold out for so long without losing consciousness, and when he looked up, he saw Tika clutching her arm and frightenedly scanning the area.
\'\'Who are you? \'\' Tika had no idea where the attack or voice came from, which filled her with dread.
She stared in horror at the arm that had been ripped from her shoulder and then at the mangled remnants on the ground.
\'No blood was drawn even though my arm was cut off. My arm also doesn\'t seem to be able to heal itself. Just who is behind this attack? It\'s impossible, right? That person can\'t be here. \'\'
Tika feared that her actions had angered the individual she feared the most, and said. \'\'I-I am here on the family\'s orders as a simple battle maid. I had no intention of causing trouble. Nothing that happened w-was my f-fault. \'\'
\'\'Neither your origins nor your motivation matters to me. Just letting you know that what you\'re doing is not a thoughtful act, young lady. Don\'t forget, this is not your home. \'\'
Everyone heard the previous voice ringing in their ears once more. It seemed as though the person speaking had not just severed the arm of a pretty young woman, and it had the air of a grandfather instructing his grandson in morality.
\'\'I\'m sorry for how I behaved. Just now, I temporarily lost myself. My only goal is to complete the mission that my family has assigned to me. \'\' Even though Tika wasn\'t sure where the sound was coming from, she bowed respectfully in a direction. All she could hope for right now was that she wouldn\'t be killed by this person in a fit of rage.
\'\'I am aware of your purpose for being here, but it appears that the person you came to meet is not present at this time. Why not leave now and return later? \'\' Once more, the voice spoke in a calm voice.
\'\'Yes, I\'ll just come back later. Thank you for your understanding.\'\' Tika relieved that she was no longer in immediate danger, bowed her head even lower as she expressed her gratitude; she then took her driver who still watching the unfolding events with a shocked expression, and sped off in the vehicle they had arrived in.
\'I didn\'t think he\'d be here, and I certainly didn\'t expect him to come and interfere with me personally just for a servant. I must relay this information to the family. \' Tika pondered in the backseat of the vehicle as she clutched her arm, which showed no signs of healing.
Even if the family\'s orders were the reason she came here, and even if the family rules protected her despite her actions, she still could have lost her life in the presence of such a powerful individual with just a moment of anger.
