Also, why is he leaving with both girls without including me?\' Sasha thought to herself depressingly, but Victoria\'s words dragged her attention back to them and she decided to listen further to their conversation.
Victoria giggled with a smile when Kevin mentioned him returning to Ruby City very soon. "It\'s nice to know that you\'ll be returning home soon."
Hearing her giggle, Kevin smiled and was curious to know why she did that. "And why is that?"
"Well, Dahlia has been missing you ever since you left the City. She has been asking me to update her on how things have been going over here while she also tells me how she can\'t wait to see you again."
"She\'s been calling me ever since we left the city because she wanted to know when you would return home and this is because you never return her calls."
The thought of seeing Dahlia again brought a smile to his face and he assured Victoria. "I will call her."
She nodded and replied. " You better," The moment she said this Victoria lifted her gaze and noticed that Sasha was eavesdropping on their conversation.
Sasha instantly shut her eyes while hoping that Victoria didn\'t notice her.
But it was already too late for that.
Victoria smiled to herself as an idea slipped into her mind. Since Sasha was pretending to be asleep, this was Victoria\'s chance to make things a bit easier for Kevin, and she hoped that she would be able to utilize this golden opportunity wisely.
She turned towards Kevin and asked. "So, what do you intend to do with Vanessa when you return home to Ruby City?"
Sasha\'s ears twitched at the sound of her sister\'s name.
But immediately after Victoria asked Kevin her question, she leaned into his ear to whisper something else. "She is listening."
Upon hearing that, Kevin quickly understood who she was referring to.
And with a smile, he replied.
"Once I\'m done here, I will resume my initial plan concerning her. She ruined my family, and even though I wanted to do the same to her by taking advantage of her sister, I\'ve decided to go against that plan."
"And why is that?" Victoria asked, feigning ignorance. Then she suddenly gasped, as though she just understood why he was going against his initial plans.
"Wait a minute, don\'t tell me you have feelings for her just because you slept with her?"
Kevin smiled at Victoria. He knew that she was probably taking her acting a bit too far, but he wasn\'t complaining because he knew the perfect answer to counter her question.
His back was currently facing Sasha, so he felt relaxed knowing that she couldn\'t see his facial expression which was currently smiling at Victoria.
Now, it was time to put up a good act.
"N-no, that wasn\'t why I changed my mind. I had feelings for her even before I slept with her, and..." He paused to drag on the suspense, knowing that Sasha would like to hear the rest.
"And?" Victoria urged him to continue with a smug look on her face.
Kevin noticed this and shifted his gaze from her as though his next choice of words would hurt Victoria if he said it. "N-never mind."
"Uh?" Victoria arched her brows.
"Wait a minute," She grabbed Kevin\'s cheeks, pulling them. "Don\'t tell me you think she\'s prettier than me?"
"Ouch! Ouch!! It hurts, I didn\'t say that," he winced before rubbing his cheeks.
"Yeah, but you were thinking it."
Kevin looked to his side while muttering loud enough for Sasha to hear. "I.... don\'t know."
"Liar!! Your face already said it all."
"....." Kevin had no words to counter her accusations and this caused Victoria to sigh as she accepted the painful news.
But a smile bloomed on her face as she asked. "So you\'ll be leaving the city without letting Sasha know about it right?"
"Yes, I can\'t keep using her as a tool for my revenge."
Hearing this, Victoria sighed while scratching the back of her head. She was done with the first part of her act.
Now, she had to act like someone who was advising and stopping Kevin from doing something he would later regret.
She sighed once again. "I can see you really like her, but don\'t you think it would hurt her even more if you suddenly left without saying anything to her."
"Then what do you propose I should do?"
"How about just breaking up with her while giving her a good reason why you can\'t continue your relationship with her?"
"But, Isn\'t that a bad thing to do to her?" Kevin asked, concern filling his voice.
"Of course, it is. But this way she would understand how you truly feel about her, and eventually find a way to move on without you.
I know it will be difficult, but if you leave the city without a word, it will hurt her even more."
"You\'re right. I guess I\'ll break up with her by the end of the week before going back home."
Hearing his words which sounded like he was reluctant to let her go, Sasha was still trying to understand what Kevin meant when he said Vanessa ruined his family.
Just what did her sister do to hurt Kevin so much for him to want to exact his revenge on her?
While she was thinking about this, Kevin\'s phone suddenly rang, and even Kevin and Victoria were surprised by it.
Kevin stood up to pick up his phone, and when he saw the name displayed on his screen, his eyes widened because it was Wolfgang\'s name.
He placed the phone to his ear and spoke.
"Hello, Boss! It\'s me, Wolfgang!! There\'s something important I need to tell you."
