Chapter 418 Leiget
No matter how strong you are, there will always be someone who can make you weak.
In life, that saying means that even the most powerful man can fall in love and meet someone who will hold your heart in her hands.
Elliot blinked a few times to process what just happened to the Wild Energy Lucifer and Lilith even as the words appeared in his mind.
“Only that in this case, weak literally means weak.” Elliot muttered to himself.
He had thought that with his Ascendant Runes tinged even with Dark Runes, and his incredible breakthrough in the Universe of Runes and the ridiculously game-breaking Clone Portals, he would finally reach the top of the top.
He did, actually in his realm.
But now, looking at the strange being whose body was “merely” a body, and who could turn Wild Energy Lucifer and Lilith to dust with a single thought, AND turn them into “easily absorbed particles” so that Alexander could absorb them easily… Elliot felt helplessly small once again.
In the face of such mysterious power, he was but one word.
Weak.
He felt like a little baby watching another little baby taking in the processed baby food which looked like mush so that the weak little baby body could absorb its nutrients easily.
When will he ever reach the top?
“The path to power is a never ending journey.” One of Elliot’s clone said and laughed bitterly.
“Hmmm? A philosopher? Hahaha, yes you are right. You’re pretty powerful too. Here, have some of these nutritious food as well. It will help you take another small, oh well for you it will be pretty big, step in that path of power you mentioned. You have to get your real body here if you want to receive it though.” The voice said very casually as though she was distributing a bunch of cheap candy.
“In fact, why don’t all four of you have some? It’ll do you good and you’ll probably be able to defend your cute little realm from other naughty realms.” The voice giggled.
“I thank you for your generosity. But my real body is currently indisposed.” One of Elliot’s clones bowed respectfully at the general direction of where the giant eye was.
“A suspicious philosopher.” The voice chuckled. “Your loss. Here, have more.”
The mass of particles surged towards Alexander and rapidly entered his body.
Throughout the process, his face remained calm.
Magius and Aleyria didn’t move a single muscle nor did they say a single word, probably under Alexander’s strictest instructions.
Aleyria’s face was understandably gloomy to the utmost, and her aura was one of icy death. But like Elliot, she was but another newborn baby in the presence of a fully mobile adult.
, Magius was standing next to her, ready to stop her from doing anything stupid. But with so many of her clones around, even if she wants to do anything stupid, she didn’t have to do it with her real body.
It was enough that Alexander step up and do whatever the strange but peerlessly powerful voice wanted them to do.
As the particles from Wild Energy Lucifer and Lilith surged into Alexander ceaselessly, the eye particles formed themselves into a little girl, not unlike Jessica Sands in style and form, but one with an aged quality to her that unmistakably exhibited her wisdom and maturity for them to behold.
“Because you’re the only one brave enough to step up, let me give you a big gift!” The little girl said and gently stretched out her hand to touch Alexander’s forehead.
Aleyria’s eyes bulged out and she finally couldn’t take it anymore.
Whatever that strange little girl had to give to her husband, she didn’t want it!
She made all hundred thousand of her clones blink forward and cast the strongest defensive barrier she could around Alexander.
A hundred thousand super thin but hyper tough barriers rippled into existence around Alexander.
Aleyria stood in front of her husband protectively and raised her hand horizontally forward to stop the little girl from coming closer.
“Stop. I thank you for your willingness to help us. But we don’t know you, and we can’t accept such powerful gifts without first knowing you and what your gifts do.” Aleyria said firmly.
“Hee hee. You’re being too suspicious of me, just like the other guy. If I want to kill you, or completely enslave you, I have but to will it, and it shall be. I have no need to touch you. Look. Let me demonstrate.” The little girl’s eyes glowed white very briefly and suddenly, every single clone in the area, be it Aleyria, Alexander, Magius, Elliot and even all the other clones from the rest of their subordinates, suddenly disappeared and reappeared in neat rows!
“See? I can control their actions like a puppeteer. And if I wanted to…” The little girl’s eyes glowed red very briefly.
Poof.
Every single clone disappeared into energy particles.
“Or, if I wanted to…” The little girl’s eyes glowed green very briefly again.
The energy particles from all the thousands of clones began to clump together in a strange runic pattern.
And very soon, a magnificent creature unlike anything they had ever seen before emerged.
It was four legged, and looked vaguely like a lion. However, it was much bigger and somehow looked much more impressive than a lion. Its trio of horns protruded very powerfully and demanded instant reverence from all who laid their eyes on it.
It oozed out deep majesty from every pore and a regality that would stun Kings senseless shrouded it snugly like a warm fluffy blanket in deep winter.
“A Leiget.” The little girl smiled. “A being so powerful that it could rule all of your little realms as a peerless God. A gift for my brave little buddy here.”
She waved her hand carelessly, and the Leiget’s dead eyes suddenly burst into life.
It blinked, and instantly positioned itself next to Alexander.
“Master.” The Leiget said solemnly.
