Chapter 50 - Become A Figure: First Phase
In front of the guild, Ellena took her feet inside the building. As the same vibes at the Azmar, Aaron felt a nostalgic feeling as they set their foot inside the guild.
As usual, members are busy talking about their adventures. Everyone has their attention to the quest board, hoping for a breakthrough in their career, despite the qualities that an adventurer really must have to be famous.
Ellena inquired at the receptionist as soon a desk got vacant.
"Welcome, how may I help you?"
Without hesitating, Ellena showed her card. "I want to have a quest. Put as much as you can."
It was a reckless remark, but for the receptionist, it was something that she always witnesses almost every new ones.
Looking at Ellena in pity, she browsed the thick pile of quest arranged by their difficulties. She picked one of the easiest then handed it to Ellena.
"Slime Clearing Route. Subjugate and 3 silver per wax skin."
Reading it calmly, Ellena asked for more, however, the receptionist was hesitating if she must give another quest for her.
"I\'m sorry, but for your safety, please have a quest that is only easy for you." The receptionist just sighed after trying to fight with Ellena. Ellena, on the other hand, was not really okay with it, she felt underestimated just because of her rank.
Observing the receptionist, Ellena noticed that her guild card was upside down, only show the back details and not the record of achievements and contributions.
She smiled as she flipped the card. "Please give me more."
\'This kid, just how much does she need money?... But her garments aren\'t the average. Perhaps she\'s doing it for achievements to raise her rank.\'
As the receptionist was feeling unwell with pitying Ellena, she shifted her eyes to the card that was just flipped and widened her eyes.
"Expedition most contributor?" She mumbled as soon as she saw a golden star on the list of her achievements and contributions. At the bottom of the guild card, there are slots for symbols to summary their history. And not noticing it being a receptionist is ignorant of her.
"I\'m sorry for doubting you." As soon as she apologized, she pulled out more quest, all of it is near the surrounding of the first quest.
Everyone at the receptionist\'s desk was taken their attention to Ellena\'s desk.
\'What\'s happening? Why is she loaded with quests? Is it really possible?\'
\'What the?! That\'s a pile of quests!\'
All of those who witness were surprised by the event. It is something that has not happened in bronze rank, judging at the color lining of the parchment paper.
"It\'s okay. I know, I still have much to learn." Ellena said. But at that time, something just came to Aaron\'s mind.
\'Shit! I forgot to tell her to become anonymous! How will she became intimidating?\' He screamed inwardly.
But thinking of another course of the plan, he just sighed. \'Guess that we have to start being anonymous when she\'s a little higher in rank. Perhaps no one would question her identity if she gets higher in rank.\'
Ellena received the pile of quests then signed it to be reserved for her. "Thank you for your assistance." The receptionist said as Ellena just nod then leaves the desk.
The people around who were curious just asked the receptionist that attended Ellena. "Hey, what happened right there? Why did you give a bunch of quests to her?"
"That girl is a contributor. Most of all, an expedition contributor." She exclaims in excitement.
"Really?! That little girl? Isn\'t she just looks like 16 or 17?"
"Yes. But I think she really is talented since the expedition result was an overflowing dungeon."
More to her words, the people around her were more surprised. Since it is already rare for a bronze ranker to be the most contributor in an expedition, the thing that is more surprising is that it was a kid who just got on the age.
But of course, there are people who are skeptical about it. And most are those who are envious. They inspected Ellena\'s garments before saying their speculation.
"Her clothes look expensive. Isn\'t it making her a child from a wealthy family? Perhaps she just bought that position." An adventurer in silver ranking said. But the receptionist was offended by his nonsense remark, a result of envy.
"That\'s something offensive. The guild is a neutral party which doesn\'t entertain nobles for money."
However, the guy just smirked before replying. "Yeah, but you seem like you haven\'t even had the grasp of the world, young lady."
"What are you talking about?"
"Money can buy anything. That girl was obviously just bragging."
The receptionist just raised her eyebrow, "Bragging? How can you prove that? You\'re just jealous obviously."
"Prove?" Then he laughed. "If that\'s what you need, then I\'ll make a bet. She\'ll never return with the quest all completed. How many did she take by the way?"
Even hesitantly, she still disclosed the information regarding Ellena\'s number of quests.
"Seven quests in total. All for Bronze Rank and from D to B."
"Hey!" As soon as the receptionist said that, her co-worker scolded her for what she did.
"Why would you disclose our member\'s information?!"
"Don\'t worry about it. I just want this scum to learn his lesson."
"Lesson or not, don\'t do it again."
"Yeah, sorry."
As inside the receptionist desk was loud, the guy who just made the bet was grinning on his own. Thinking that he really knows everything, as his nickname was \'All-knows\'.

Outside the city, Ellena was making threads of lightning, hitting the slimes on the way.
Just after 10 minutes of venturing from the adventurer\'s guild, Ellena was almost finished with her first quest.
"Achievements are calling for me.." Ellena cheerfully stabbed picked up the wax skin that he got from the slimes.
