PATH OF THE STAR HUNTER

Chapter 168

And even with that being the case, Desmond found himself in that state for the second time in his life, because in front of him was Sasha whose beauty at this very moment was something that completely took his breath away.

Sasha was already one of the most beautiful women Desmond had ever seen, every feature of her had a charm and her body was truly something a man would wish he had, but now Sasha’s most exotic and beautiful features had been magnified; thus enhancing Sasha’s beauty on a supernatural level.

Her vermilion hair fluttered inconstantly like a flame, her eyes were like the most precious gems in this world shining brightly, the horns on her head had grown to six inches and the deep crimson color made them look incredibly beautiful.

Sasha’s exquisite body had always been seductive, something Desmond had barely been able to resist, her breasts were soft and bountiful with the perfect shape and firmness, she had long legs with plump thighs that always tempted Desmond’s lust and Sasha’s butt didn’t lose anything against the rest of his attributes either; her waist was slim giving her an exquisite hourglass figure and now the inherent charms of her body were elevated to infinity by what she was wearing.

At this time Sasha’s clothes had been sent into oblivion by the vermilion flames and instead a dress made entirely of fire adorned Sasha’s sensual curves, the dress was the same color as Sasha’s horns and despite being composed of a flame condensed to an unimaginable level, it did not harm Sasha one bit; the dress itself looked a lot like the purple dress Desmond had bought for her, glamorous but sensual.

But Desmond was probably the only person in the mood to appreciate the divine image in front of him, as the rest of the people had been repelled by the endless waves of fire that emerged from Sasha’s adorable little bare feet.

The crowd fled in horror, people were crying in terror as if they had seen hell itself and even the knights had fled with their tails between their legs, it was almost ridiculous the level of difference between Desmond’s reaction to Sasha’s true form and the crowd reaction.

But at least this way the couple had a moment alone without immediate danger, Sasha saw the crowd flee in horror and then turned her gaze to Desmond who was looking at her in a daze; A small seed of doubt deeply sown in her heart led her to ask Desmond a question that she had kept with her for a long time.

.....

′′ you’re scared of me? ′′ Sasha wanted to keep a calm image, but she was unable to hide the nervousness in her voice.

Desmond on the other hand found Sasha’s question infinitely stupid and replied with a wry smile on his face: ′′ Do you need a mirror? Right now you are probably the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. ′′

Sasha seemed genuinely happy at Desmond’s response when she felt an indescribable tenderness melt her heart, but she too found Desmond’s words strange.

Sasha looked at herself and only then realized the many changes that had occurred in her appearance, behind her long wavy hair were swaying in the wind like a huge flame and she could feel with her delicate hands that her horns had grown up quite a bit.

She then looked at the fire around her, although the flames had spread throughout most of the square, they didn’t seem to be destroying everything, they were just burning there; when she turned her gaze to Desmond she was greatly alarmed when she saw some flames attached to Desmond’s body.

Seeing her so scared and without the courage to approach him, Desmond saw himself and saw the vermilion fire licking her wounds, it was a disconcerting feeling to see the fire on oneself, but not to feel that you were burning; It wasn’t that Desmond didn’t feel anything, either, but it was just a warm comforting sensation.

Having thought so far, Desmond noticed something else, the pain and the arrows stuck in him were gone, not only the pain of his injuries but also the pain of having used overload for so long; Desmond could even watch as under the flames his wounds healed little by little.

Seeing the nervous and worried Sasha again, Desmond slowly stood up and approached her, Sasha took a few steps back in fear trying to prevent Desmond from touching her, but Desmond was faster and clung to her.

′′ Desmond be careful. ” An expression of fear-filled Sasha’s face as she pleaded with Desmond to get away from her, but Desmond ignored her.

′′ It doesn’t hurt, you see? ′′

′′ really? ′′ Sasha exclaimed, but seeing that Desmond was perfectly fine, her expression relaxed a lot, but with still some concern in her voice, she asked again: ′′ Are you sure you’re not afraid of me? I look very different now. ′′

Desmond saw Sasha’s nervous expression and couldn’t help but kiss Sasha gently on her lips, the kiss was short, but it carried a lot of tenderness and affection that reassured Sasha as she listened to Desmond’s response.

′′ Your name is Sasha Kor Ignis, you said that your teacher gave you that name because it meant rose born of fire, at this moment I could not agree more with your mother, at this moment you are the very embodiment of your name and I couldn’t be more in amazed by your beauty.

In my life, I have only loved one woman and although I have led a fickle private life I have never truly desired another woman. . . But at this moment, here and now Sasha, I desire you, I want you deeply and I don’t want to let you go.

Sasha, I am not a good man, I have done horrible things, I have shed a lot of blood in the past and I will continue to do it, I am selfish and capricious, I cannot even promise you fidelity, but I still have the nerve to be jealous and possessive; I really am a lost cause. . . but still, Sasha Kor Ignis. . . I want you, please. . . be mine. ′′

Only then did Desmond let go of whatever resistance he had to his feelings for Sasha and had decided that he would do whatever it took to make Claire accept her, no matter how selfish was on his part he still would; the simple fact that even facing her death Sasha had asked him to run away leaving her alone was enough for Desmond to make that decision.

Sasha on the other hand had always been afraid, deep inside she feared herself more than she feared others, she was afraid that one day she would lose control again and harm someone she loved; she was afraid that the day Desmond saw her lose control and he would fear her and hate her.

Never in her wildest dreams, Sasha would dare to believe that even after seeing her in this new form, Desmond would not only not disown her, but in her place, Desmond would confess to her so sincerely and brazenly.

That was why even despite all the negative things Desmond said about himself, Sasha had made up her mind, she had decided that she would hand everything over to the man in front of her, a man who from the beginning to the end remained faithful to his word, that since they had met, he had shown nothing but goodwill and affection towards her despite she wasn′t a human; the man who came and tried to save her even at the cost of risking his life.

And it was at this very moment that Sasha had ceased to be attracted to Desmond. . . now she loved him, from the depths of her being, Sasha loved him, the affection within her became a love that burned like a burning flame, such as Sasha’s personality and nature; whether she liked it or not, she herself was like fire.

′′ Desmond. . . I love you. ′′ Sasha’s love was almost palpable in her voice and the smile on her face was so pure she was almost blinding.

Desmond looked at her stunned for a second before approaching her and kissing her again, this time the kiss was full of love and passion, being more intense than the previous one by a great margin, and while their tongues intertwined with softness in an endless exchange of intimate affection; the crimson flames burning on Sasha’s dress along with the vermilion flames covered them both to some extent.

Flames fluttered and sparks flew every time Desmond and Sasha took a breath to kiss again, the whole scene had an incredible romantic charm and the image was worthy of being illustrated in a fantasy book.

It was a real shame that the only witnesses to this scene were too lost in their thirst for each other to notice any of these things, Desmond hadn’t even noticed that his body had fully recovered as he was completely focused on drinking the sweet nectar that Sasha was for him right now.

And so amid the flames where there should be nothing but ashes and destruction, a new love was being born, one that would burn forever with the intensity of a flame.
