Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 532

On the other hand, the students enjoying the drama perked their ears at the words, ‘sparring match.’

To the students of the evening lesson, this news meant they could experience the show they missed in the morning.

“What kind of sparring match do you suggest, teacher Maria? Is it perhaps a two on one match? To be honest, it wouldn’t be fair to have a one on one match against trash that only knows how to harass the weak.” Vincent said with a confident smirk.

[Good one. It looks like the two of them are about to bite the hook.]

[Three, two, one...]

“We accept!”

Kazumi predicted the timing of their outburst. Now the challenge was accepted.

*Sigh* “Follow me to the training grounds. I don’t want this place to become damaged.” Maria signaled with her hand once and left.

.....

“Quickly! Let’s follow teacher Maria!” Said many students with excited expressions on their faces.

*First year’s training area*

Biro, Ton, Ollie, and Class B students were bewildered to see Maria with her students approach them. This never happened, making the students question what was happening.

Among the Class B students were Vopor and Elias. Vopor is a mage, yet he joined the physical lesson to improve himself. On the other hand, Elias is a warrior. This was his obligatory class.

“What brings you here, teacher Maria?” Asked Ton with a poker face. His instincts were already telling him trouble was brewing.

*Sigh* “Three students want to challenge each other, and I hope they can settle the matters here where my outdoor class can remain safe.”

“Really?...”

Biro peaked at Vincent and said, “Is it perhaps a two on one fight? Two mages and one melee class?”

*Sigh* “If you know already, can you give us five minutes?”

“But teacher Maria, this is the first time you have asked us...” Ton stopped when Biro placed his hand on his shoulder. “Fine... do as you all wish.”

Ton grumbled while walking in front of the Class B students. He informed them how they were going to have a short break because three students from Class A were going to have a sparring match.

“Ahem.” Ton cleared his throat and continued, “Who of you is the fastest runner?”

Five students swiftly raised their hands as if they expected. However, unlike what they expected, the two picked were greatly disappointed to hear how they needed to bring the medical staff for urgent treatment as soon as possible.

Shortly, the remaining two members of team five stood on one side and Vincent on the other. Vincent remained with his arms crossed while donning a confident smirk while the two members of team five looked enraged at how they were being treated.

Vopor and Elias went near Lilith, Nick, Clair, and Jun Ye Rim. Both asked questions about what was happening and if the rumors about Vincent beating three students in a match were true.

“Vopor, my friend. Did you forget how strong Vincent is?” Nick questioned while placing his arm on Vopor’s shoulder.

“Can I go help, Vincent? He has done much for my family and me. I don’t want him to get hurt.” Said Elias with a troubled conscious. Anyone could tell from his expression how Elias was afraid to fight against two mages with a considerable disadvantage.

“There is no need to help Vincent. Your respectable gesture is enough.” Lilith looked at Tiffi and continued, “Tiffi, does Vincent need help?

Tiffi approached, and following her was Melissa.

“Vincent is strong enough.” Said Tiffi after knowing how overwhelming his might was against assassins.

“I hope no one helps Vincent too. I want to see how much he improved. I want to see what happens when Vincent is faced with two fire balls.” Melissa said while her eyes remained on the confident Vincent.

*Gulp* “Melissa. How do you still remember Vincent’s two opponents are fire mages?” Asked Lilith after mustering her courage.

“...” Melissa paused for a moment to think. “I... I just remembered.” She answered while averting her gaze.

*Clap* “Attention! The match with magic allowed and weapons disallowed is about to begin.” Biro said while acting like both an announcer and referee.

“Weapons disallowed? Does that mean the two mages will win without any action?”

“That is my thoughts too. I wonder why Vincent Lionheart is still wearing a confident smirk.”

The audience was confused about why Vincent agreed to participate in a disadvantageous match. Even a baby would understand Vincent was going to lose.

Some students looked at Lilith. They believed she would be stricken with worry if her husband were to get hurt in an unfair and guaranteed losing match. However, as their eyes landed upon Lilith, their thoughts became more confused than they already were.

“Sparring match start!”

The fight began with the two challengers chanting their spells immediately. However, they didn’t know Vincent had recently read their status window and knew precisely what spells were in their possession.

[Are you planning to use Overheat and make everyone’s jaws drop?]

-No. I have another risky plan in mind.-

[Risky? Do tell me before I become a little bit curious about your plan.]

-Just wait and see. It will not take long.-

[Humph!]

While Vincent chatted with Kazumi comfortably, the two fire ball spells were at the last few words from completion.

“Fire Ball!” Both said at the same time.

In Vincent’s hands materialized two small pouches. He threw them at the balls of fire heading his way and caused two explosions from the Mutated Ash catching on fire.

The two balls of fire were consumed when the explosion reaction occurred. The flame instantly turned green, and the heat intensified. While almost all eyes were on the mysterious green intense flame, Vincent took the opportunity of the shocking event to sprint.

“Look! Vincent Lionheart has almost reached combat range!”

“He cheated! Yet why does this feel satisfying to see the prideful mages have the expression of despair on their faces.”

“Haha. Whatever he did, I like it when someone beats mages in their with vast advantage.”

The warriours of Class B started to bad mouth mages. On the other hand, the mages of Class A became angry at the two fighting against Vincent. They were making them feel humiliated to have the same mage class as them and also be in the same class.

Vincent arrived in front of his targets for revenge. “Never touch my teammates again!” He said before throwing two strikes at the same time.

The last two members of team five were sent flying about one meter in the air before slamming on the ground violently and rolling.

Vincent raised his hand triumphantly and shouted, “The honor of my harassed teammate is now redeemed!”

[So that was your grand plan. I must say, it worked flawlessly.] Kazumi praised.

All the audience whispered about what happened. Some thought Vincent won because he cheated, while others liked the idea of canceling a fire ball with an explosion.

Unfortunately, the medical staff arrived promptly this time. They arrived a minute after the two members of team five stopped rolling on the ground.

*Sigh* “Really?... ” Maria looked angry when the medical staff required her presence in the infirmary. Team five was under her responsibility, and all the team five members were going to be in the infirmary.

Maria glared at Vincent. Then she moved her glare toward her students. *Tsk* “I have to be in the ~presence~ of these incompetent noble brats.” *Sigh* “The evening class is over. Do what you want since I have to be in their ~presence.~”

“Please understand us, teacher Maria.” Requested one of the medical staff members.

*Tsk* “Take those brats quickly before I start freezing everyone into a block of ice.”

“S-s-sure! We will be as fast as possible.”

The medical staff didn’t take the time to understand what happened. They placed the two injured students onto a stretcher and swiftly left while the bothered Maria followed them.

*Clap* “Class A students, please disperse.” Ton announced. He looked at Vincent and continued, “However, Vincent Lionheart will have to stay. ”

[There were a lot of witnesses, and there most probably are going to be many rumors about what happened. I only hope that they will not approach Jun Ye Rim again.]

Vincent nodded. -I agree.-

Vincent went to tell Lilith to go without him.

Lilith nodded. “I understand. We will be waiting for you. But please do return before Lupa gets hungry and starts complaining.”

“Sure.”

Lilith held Tiffi’s hand and teleported. Nick, Clair, and Jun Ye Rim teleported afterward.

“Why didn’t you use your green gauntlets? And are the rumors true?” Asked Melissa.

Vopor, Elias, and the nearby students perked their ears to hear what Vincent had to say.

[I think it would be best not to make Melissa look bad. It would be better to praise her strength.]

Vincent agreed with Kazumi’s thinking. He looked at Melissa and responded, “You were far stronger than those two combined. I thought it was a waste to become serious when I am not facing a strong opponent like you.”

Melissa smiled, and her eyes swiftly moved from left to right. He became thrilled all the nearby eyes were looking at her.

Vincent slightly raised his voice to continue, “Team five have assaulted Jun Ye Rim. As you know, she is a very quiet girl.”

“On last Saturday, I saw Jun Ye Rim holding her stomach. When I thought something was wrong, I worryingly asked if she was feeling well.”
